Massimo Mauro, ㅋㅋㅋ벳who won Napoli’s Serie A title in 1990 with Diego Maradona, picked Kim Min-jae as the Napoli player he wanted to add to the squad at the time.
According to the influential Italian newspaper ‘La Repubblica’ on the 5th, Mauro was emotional as he watched Napoli, his team win the Serie A title for the first time since the 1989/90 season when he played.
“Our team dominated Serie A without spending as much money as AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus,” he said.
He was then asked by the newspaper to name among the current Napoli-winning members who he would like to add to the 1990 squad.
Then, he picked Kim Min-jae in his first hand.
“Kim Min-jae will definitely play,” he said, “I also want Piotr Zielinski.”
When asked to compare Napoli at the time and Napoli now, Mauro said, “I played in Napoli for three years,” and said, “Napoli is better in 2023. But we had Maradona,” and pointed out that there is no player like Maradona in the squad now.
Mauro is a midfielder who played for Napoli from 1989 to 1993, having previously played for Udinese and Juventus. He is now active as a politician.
