‘Dirty uniforms are everyday’ Kim Ha-Sung, ‘Heart and Hustle Award’ Choi Yoo-Kwon Huboda

A dusty uniform, a helmet and goggles that always come off.

These are the symbols of Ha-Sung Kim of the San Diego Padres in Major League Baseball. The major leagues are home to the best baseball players in the world. Superstars line up. They hit big balls, run slowly around the bases, and draw cheers from the crowd.안전놀이터

But what’s really cool is that they put their heart into every play and give it their all. That’s what Ha-Sung Kim is doing at the major league level. He never takes anything for granted on the field, in the field, or at the plate. His “hustle play” is one of the most important reasons why San Diego fans love him so much.

There’s an award that would be perfect for him. The Major League Baseball Retired Players Association’s 2023 Heart and Hustle Award. The award recognizes a player who embodies the passion for baseball and the traditions, spirit, and values of the game over the course of a season.

Kim was selected to represent San Diego. Each of the 30 Major League Baseball clubs nominates one player. The final winner is determined at the end of the season, and San Diego chose Ha-Sung Kim. Each team’s retired players nominate a candidate.

It’s hard to argue with Kim’s selection. His “hustle play” for the team is unparalleled. In the professional world, you can’t be recognized for just throwing your body. His performance is also tremendous. Especially in the second half of the season, he has been improving his performance with terrifying momentum. His batting average, which was in the low-to-mid 20s, has risen to 2.284. With 15 home runs, 41 RBIs, and 22 doubles, he’s on pace to join the 20-homer, 20-RBI club. His Wins Above Replacement (WAR) is third in the entire major leagues. Only Ohtani (Los Angeles Angels) and Acuna Jr. (Atlanta Braves) are above Kim. Both are MVP candidates in their respective leagues.

The final winner is determined by a vote of retired and active players. They’ll be watching Kim closely. He has a good chance of winning the award.

No Korean major leaguer has ever won the award. Choo Shin-soo has only won it twice as a club representative.
