After Ten Hagh, Klopp admits…EPL’s only title favorites ‘Manchester City’

Jürgen Klopp says Manchester City are the only team he can call the favorites to win the title.

The English Premier League (EPL) is an unpredictable league every season. Every season, there’s a championship, a top four, and a relegation battle. This is especially true at the top. While Man City has won back-to-back titles in the last three seasons, it hasn’t been easy. Just last season, they lost the top spot to Arsenal for a long time before flipping the tables at the end of the season, and in 2021-22, they won the title with one more point than Liverpool.

Next season is expected to be just as competitive. However, there is one team in the EPL that is consistently considered the favorite to win the title. It’s Man City.

Since the arrival of Pep Guardiola, City have built a dynasty in the EPL. They’ve won the title five of the last six seasons, and last season’s victory made them the first team since Manchester United to win three consecutive league titles since the EPL’s inception. They have also been applauded for their dominance on the pitch.

That’s why they’re considered the favorites to win the title again next season. City didn’t make any big signings in the summer transfer window, other than letting Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez go and bringing in Mateo Kovacic. However, with the presence of Guardiola in charge, and a well organized squad, they are the favorites to win the title again next season.

Even rival managers have recognized this. Earlier, Eric ten Hagg said after a pre-season friendly that City were the only team to win the league next season, and now Klopp has said the same.안전놀이터

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the pre-season friendly against Bayern Munich, Klopp said, “It’s hard for anyone but Man City to win the title this year. We will fight for a place in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) next season, just like everybody else,” he said, predicting a tough season ahead.
