The nation’s largest youth baseball tournament will be held in Gijang County.
Gijang-gun (County Governor Jeong Jong-bok) announced on the 13th that the nation’s largest youth baseball tournament, the 2023 U-15 National Youth Baseball Tournament, will be held at the Gijang Hyundai Motor Dream Ball Park (hereinafter Dream Ball Park) in Gijang Baseball Theme Park, a baseball mecca in Korea.
Hosted by Gijang County and the Korea Baseball Softball Association (Chairman Lee Jong-hoon), and co-hosted by the Korea Baseball Softball Association and the Busan Metropolitan Baseball Softball Association (Chairman Spirit), the tournament will be held at Dream Ball Park and Jangancheon Baseball Field for 12 days from September 13 to 4.토토사이트
The ‘2023 U-15 National Youth Baseball Tournament’ will feature 129 teams and more than 4,000 players aged 15 and under competing in three leagues, Osiria, Haeparangil, and Nine Mountains Forest, named after Gijang-gun. The games are free to watch and the schedule can be found on the Gijang-gun website.
Dream Ball Park, where the tournament will be held, has successfully hosted several national and international tournaments, including the 2016 WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup, the 2018 International Baseball Grand Festival, the 29th WBSC World Youth Baseball Championship, the 2019 U-12 National Youth Baseball Tournament and National Women’s Baseball Tournament, and the 2022 U-15 National Youth Baseball Tournament. It will also host the U-15 National Youth Baseball Championship in 2024.
